“In San Francisco, photographers are abundant … to be successful, a photographer must not only be eager, cooperative and determined, but also be genuinely talented and creative. Akim Is one such photographer … and a great asset …”
– Zoran Basich, Executive Editor, San Francisco Examiner

I don’t hesitate to send Akim on any type of photo assignment, he is highly versatile, always producing excellent images”
– Ron J. Riesterer, Director of Photography, ANG Newspapers

Akim finds poignancy where you’d least expect it: in a nervous giggle, a bored moment of contemplation – pretty much anywhere. And he’s not afraid to follow a guy dressed up like a ninja into a Randy Newman concert, which is also pretty cool.”
– Garrett Kamps, Music Editor, SFWeekly Magazine
